Our team are dedicated to bringing you the highest standard of service, offering premium lagers, ciders, and the world’s most famous stout, along with local Yorkshire favourites such as Black Sheep direct from the Masham brewery and from right here in Wakefield enjoy a Yorkshire Blonde from the Ossett Brewery. We are happy to announce our newest arrival, Beavertown Neck Oil enjoy a refreshing pint today.
Not forgetting our range of non-alcoholic choices, such as an ice-cold Heineken 0.0 on draught along with bottled Peroni, BrewDog and Guinness amongst others. We also serve a range of hot drinks, crisps and chocolate treats.
We have a wide selection of draught beers on tap as well as bottled craft beers, ciders, wines, spirits and shots.

Located on the outskirts of Wakefield city centre, our venue is in an ideal location. With a large carpark available to use (parking charges apply before 4.30pm weekdays)and being just a short walk from Wakefield centre it is also easily accessible by public transport.

Yes, while we are located within the club, our fully licensed Magic Sponge Bar is open to both members and the general public. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a drink with us.
As a fully licensed bar, we offer a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Guests can enjoy our large beer garden and make use of complimentary Wi-Fi while visiting the clubhouse.
The bar is centrally located in the Clubhouse, directly adjacent to the outdoor Padel Tennis Courts. It serves as a perfect spot for players and visitors to purchase refreshments before, during, or after their activities.
The Bar is open to all customers but it is not available to hire and we no longer hire out the Function room.
